Dish Network and The Walt Disney Company announced they’ve reached a distribution agreement, wherein Dish Network has the rights to stream “ABC-owned broadcast stations, ABC Family, Disney Channel, ESPN and ESPN2, as part of an Internet delivered, IP-based multichannel offering.”
Oscar Pistorius’ trial over the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp will be televised as previously announced, but only partially, the NBC reports. The Olympian's testimony will not be filmed, a South African judge ruled Tuesday.
Facebook wants to bring the Internet to isolated communities in Africa, and it plans to use drones to do so. According to The Telegraph, the social media company is in acquisition talks with drone manufacturer Titan Aerospace.
After the Obama administration’s threat to impose sanctions on Russia, rumors about possible economic retaliation by the country are swirling, the Wall Street Journal's MarketWatch reports.
