4 Mind-Tickling Questions With Bill Nye at SXSWi


AUSTIN, Texas — Bill Nye is happy the Internet loves science, but he wants you to embrace it completely.
The Science Guy and host of StarTalk Live brought his bowtie and science-heavy charm to SXSWi as part of Quirky and GE's "Night of Invention." The event invited inventors to pitch their projects to Nye, Andy Samberg and Quirky CEO Ben Kaufman. Nye then played special guest host to Neil deGrasse Tyson's StarTalk Live alongside comedians Eugene Mirman and Jenny Slate.

Before the event, we talked to the most famous of science guys about the most realistic sci-fi movie ever made, scientific literacy on the Internet, the most important discovery in history and the most noble gas. Hint: It's not krypton, because no one likes krypton.
