Could this be the place where Amazon unveils its long-rumored streaming video box? The timing certainly aligns with the latest reports.
Over the last few years, Amazon has focused more energy on its Instant Video service and its Prime Instant Video offering, investing in original content and acquiring hit TV shows and movies.
Leaked images of an Amazon game controller also give credence to the rumor that in addition to a streaming video box, Amazon is interested in joining the gaming space.
It's not clear if Amazon's games approach will be more similar to Ouya or OnLive — we've heard rumblings of both options — but we do expect games to play some role in Amazon's future living room plans.
We'll be at Amazon's event in New York City, bringing you live coverage of what is revealed and released, as it happens.
