Let's face it: This is the most overplayed Facebook prank in the book, and if your significant other is gullible enough to believe you, they definitely won't think it's funny.

Getting engaged should be a happy moment in your life, so why spoil the real moment by crying wolf?

With all these fake pregnancies and fake engagements happening, it's no wonder so many people are having fake shotgun weddings too. Do us all a favor and just skip it.

Because nothing spells hilarity like emotional manipulation? Plus, this won't score you any points if you are in a relationship.

Let's hope your boss doesn't get any ideas.

Honestly, if people can't figure out that these are never true, shame on them.

Translation: Hey, Mom and Dad, remember how hard you worked so I would want for nothing and have a better life? I think it would be funny if I threw it all a way. LOL!

We all love to travel, but maybe you shouldn't opt to give your friends abandonment issues.
