I read one blog here, where the writer "photo pagol" wanted suggestion to buy a compact digital camera. Many blogger suggested many cameras. But it seems to me that everyone suffered for rechargeable AA battery(pencil battery). I am using one particular brand for many years and I am quite satisfied and I know for sure its worthy to give it a try. I could not comment in that post "ফটো পাগল জীবনের ১ম ক্যামেরা কিনতে চায়, জ্ঞানীদের সাজেশান চাই" because I am new here(according to new rules) but I think my experience can help many sufferers. I use two cameras. One is Canon 60D. Its a DSLR. and another is my old wine Sony cybershot P73. So for the second compact camera I use UNiROSS Ni-MH rechargeable battery which is 2100mah. One pair might cost 500 to 600tk. I bought this camera long ago....in 2003 or 2004. After trying few sony batteries I took suggestion from one of my photographer uncle and bought this pair of batteries and it worked very impressive. The performance seemed like lithium-ion battery. I used them for 5-6 years and took hell lot of pictures for my entire graduation period and afterwards of course. Recently I left home for a master's degree but I bought another pair of the same battery from the same shop and yes, the same performance. Now the price is little more. With one single charge I can shoot 3 days with my digital compact. I think all the chinese made sony/other brand fake batteries are all over the country but this one (may be chinese) is in its own name. And I think there is no fake battery in this name. I found the battery in a shop in market at purana polton chourasta. I don't really remember the name of the shop but if someone want to try I may give a detail how to get there. Having my personal experience I don't believe that AA battery performance or compact or even bridge cameras that use AA battery, is a problem being in Bangladesh.
