Ronaldinho, who missed out on the World Cup with Brazil after he was snubbed by coach Dunga, has been linked with a host of clubs in the transfer window, including MLS side LA Galaxy, Flamengo and West Ham United, as his contract expires in 2011.
However, Galliani has reasserted the position of the club after president Silvio Berlusconi said Ronaldinho would be staying in Milan until the end of his career.
"He is a Milan player, we will not give him up, the hypothesis should not even be considered," Galliani told gazzetta.it "He has never asked to be transferred. He will remain at Milan next season and I hope even longer."
Galliani also maintained that there would be no more transfer activity at the club, after goalkeeper Marco Amelia and defenders Mario Yepes and Sokratis Papastathopoulos were brought in to new manager Massimiliano Allegri's squad.
"The market is closed, assuming no one departs, this is the team," he said. "If someone does leave, then someone will come. If a small part: then a little reinforcement, if medium: an average one, and if a champion leaves: then a champion will arrive. But I think this will be our squad.
