Awami league leaders alleged that Begum Zia legalized Tk 1.33 crore during last caretaker government by paying Tk 33.87 lakhs in penalty and taxes on it. But BNP leaders termed it as motivated and blatant lie. Begum Zia's advisory council Ahmed Azam Khan denied the allegation of government party leaders by saying that Begum Zia whitened her white money following NBR circular. If we avoid political debate but some ethical questions automatically arises which Begum Zia, as being leader of the opposition and two times former prime minister of the country, should answer. We the general people have the all right to ask Honorable leader of the opposition Begum Khaleda Zia why did you not pay taxes of huge amount of taxable money? Is it ethical? As per law of the land have you not committed punishable offence? Can you deserve to do politics anymore?
