It was interesting to note Mr. Musa's comment on war criminals. He has a logic but that is not from a legal perspective. War crime can be defined as, ".... violations of established protections of the laws of war, but also include failures to adhere to norms of procedure and rules of battle..." For example, kidnaping civilians from home and killing them to take revenge because of supporting a cuse. As such crime done on Dec 14, 1971 when our intellectuals were killed at rayer Bazar can be called war crime. Dr. Rabbi was not fighting with arms but was at home and was kidnapped and killed.
In the recet past, USA tried one American taliban' for fighting with Talibans against America. He joined Taliban before even USA attacked Afganistan and when USA was helping Talibans with financial aid. Still he was tried and convicted to 20 years in jail because he didn't leave Taliban's after USA started fighting them.
In that perspective Mr. Musa seem to be wrong and many other Jamat leaders can be tried as war criminals. It was sad that Mr. Musa didn't explain his views from alegal point. Trying war criminals is a legal issue and not a mere argument.
