I have seen today, collected the ticket standing 2 hours on the queue! The 2 hour 30 minute movie full with thrill, emotion, incredible cinematography and beautiful location. I never saw such beautiful cinematography in any Bangla movie. Have you ever asked your self why do you watch movie? I don’t know your answer but my answer is straight. I watch because I want to recreate my thought, I want to break the old structure within me and restructure it. A good movie always hits my mind so strongly that it crashes down all the old fashioned thought, beliefs that I were nurturing for a long time. Mon pura is such a movie. Peer culture: This is a real time problem in our country. We are blind, we go to the “PEER” to solve our own problem. The Peer doesn’t know us but still give solution. And most of the time, we create more problem with that solution. In Mon pura, same thing happened. Pori’s life is a representation of what is going on in our life very silently, particularly in the rural area. Who are the responsible in this case? Of course the peer! The music really touches the heart with the picturization. Location? I don’t know where the shooting was done but I will go there. I was feeling the air was directly touching me, refreshing my soul. Our Bangladesh is really beautiful! Still lots of places need to be explored. One last thing, what is love? I am trying my best to search the answer………..do you know?
