Lenovo Announces Yoga 2 Pro and ThinkPad Yoga

BERLIN — Lenovo went all-in today at IFA Berlin, showing off a full range of new devices and further blurring lines between all-in-ones, tablets, laptops, phablets and smartphones.
On the laptop-turning-into-tablet front, the company announced two devices: the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro and the ThinkPad Yoga.
The Yoga 2 Pro is 13-incher that sports a 3,200x1,800 pixel touchscreen which (as is customary with the Yoga lineup) can be flipped all the way to the "wrong" side, essentially turning the device into a tablet.
It's very light — 3.06 pounds — and comes with a range of new Intel Core processors, up to a 512GB SSD and a nine-hour battery.
The Yoga 2 Pro will be available in October with a starting price of $1,099.

The company also married the Yoga-style flexibility with its successful ThinkPad brand and introduced the ThinkPad Yoga.
Yes, it's a 12.5-inch ThinkPad you can flip over, just like the Yoga. Sounds simple enough, but it will be a great selling point for those who like Yoga's features but don't want to give up the ThinkPad's business-related features.
If you're worried about accidentally pressing the keys as you flip the device over to use it as a tablet, Lenovo has thought of that. Its "Lift and Lock" system flattens the buttons when you go into laptop mode. The Yoga 2 Pro doesn't offer this option, mind you, but it's therefore visibly thinner than the ThinkPad Yoga.
The ThinkPad Yoga will be available with Intel 4th generation Core i7 processors, up to 1 TB of storage equivalent. Just like the Yoga 2 Pro, it's running Windows 8.1.
The ThinkPad Yoga will become available in November at a price of $949.
