BERLIN — Compared to its huge space at this year's MWC in Barcelona, HTC's booth at IFA Berlin can only be described as tiny.
The company brought two new devices to the show: the recently announced HTC Desire 500 and the HTC One in new Vivid Blue color.
The blue HTC One is, unsurprisingly, the same as the regular One. We love the blue color, though — it goes well with the One's brushed aluminum case. Check it out in the gallery below.

We also had the chance to try out the entry-to-mid-level HTC Desire 500. It's 4.3 inches with an 8-megapixel camera, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD cards).
The polished plastic case feels good to the touch and it's surprisingly snappy in operation. It lacks BoomSound speakers, which are present on the recently launched HTC Desire 600, so if music is important to you, you might want to grab that model instead.
Yet something is still missing from HTC's booth: Rumors abounded that HTC would show off its phablet, the HTC One Max, at IFA Berlin this year. However, HTC reps confirmed to us that this will not be the case.
