Occupational Health and Safety : A safe workplace is not only an issue for workers, it should be the issue of all party concerned including government, employers and trade unions. No industry can gain expected result by only giving emphasis on working hour, they must have to ensure workers health, safety and security. Most of the factories do not have minimum health check-up system, but it is very much necessary to increase productivity. we need enact new laws to end the situation. As the labour officers in the factories are being appointed by the employers they always protect the interests of them, not the workers.
