Juno and Up in the Air director Jason Reitman has a new casting director: Twitter.
The Oscar-nominated director tweeted that he's looking for a teenage actor for his upcoming film Men, Women & Children, an adaptation of the Chad Kultgen novel about the sexual pressures of adolescence. The character, Tim, is a 15-year-old former football player who gave up sports when his mother left the family.

He's looking for a "gentle giant" to fill the role (the character is taller than six-feet-two and speaks softly) — and suggested that a junior hockey player might be a good fit.
Need casting help! Canadians, perhaps a jr hockey player you know? A quiet thoughtful teen giant. Script attached! pic.twitter.com/C9pfzEnNBT

Judy Greer, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Rosemarie DeWitt and Cameron Diaz have already been casted through more traditional means, IMDb reports.
On Twitter, Reitman requested that actors send in a video of themselves reciting a few lines from a scene in the film. In the selected dialogue, Tim discusses his appreciation for Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot."
"In the end, nothing any human has ever done or will do, will ever mean anything," the script reads.
Reitman first tweeted the request for teen actors last week, but incorrectly called the Sagan photo "Little Blue Dot" in the script. This week's tweet featured a revised script.
This isn't the first time social media has launched stars' careers. Justin Bieber was discovered through YouTube videos. Model Kate Upton also found fame online.
