A new app called TalkToDocs lets you ask medical questions aloud, and responds in the same way — just as Siri might answer your question about the closest movie theater.
The new software is designed by HealthTap, a service that provides a network of trusted doctors to answer medical questions online. TalkToDocs plucks answers from the company's original question-and-answer app, through which anyone can type in a medical query and wait for an answer from one of the database's 50,000 doctors.

TalkToDocs lets users perform this same service — type out questions and read responses (if you'd rather not ask out loud) — but also provides a hands-free way to obtain medical advice.
HealthTap did not respond to multiple requests for comment, but CEO Ron Gutman, told MobiHealthNews that customers from moms toting babies to the elderly wanted an easier interface, which prompted the voice-command app.
TalkToDocs is available for $0.99 on iOS and Android. Watch the video above for more details.
