Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera gave viewers a surprise duet on The Voice season finale Tuesday, shattering champagne glasses and any remnants of their long-rumored feud with their intimate performance of Gaga's R. Kelly-assisted hit "Do What U Want."
Donning shiny gold getups, the pair traded vocal acrobatics, and at one point, Aguilera caresses Gaga's head before they chug champagne and throw their glasses to the floor as if to make a statement to people who have called them enemies since 2008.

Gaga previously tried to put the feud rumors — which pitted her against Aguilera for their vocal and aesthetic similarities — to bed on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live: "I'm a very big fan of Christina Aguilera. From the very beginning of when my career started there was all this controversy about the two of us, and I always felt that it was very unfair to her."
Absent from Tuesday's performance was R. Kelly, who in November joined Gaga on the American Music Awards stage to do a White House-themed version of "Do What U Want."

Tuesday's finale also featured performances from Celine Dion, Aloe Blacc, OneRepublic, Ne-Yo, Paramore and the show's finalist. In the end, powerhouse vocalist Tessanne Chin was crowned the season five champion (watch, below).
