Fasten Your Seatbelts: Delta's Taking You to the '80s

Please stow your tray tables: We're about to land in the '80s.
Delta is taking a trip back in time with a totally awesome in-flight safety video that may actually convince you to turn off your electronics before departure. The video features some classic '80s pop culture stars like everyone's favorite alien, Alf, learning to navigate oxygen masks.

And it wouldn't be the '80s without some handheld Nintendo devices and Flashdance-inspired neon scrunchies and sweatbands. (Cutoff sweats are undoubtedly the best travel wear.)
Delta joins other airlines, namely Virgin Atlantic, who have tried their hand at more whimsical in-flight marketing.
BONUS: The Most-Shared Ads of 2013
Dove uses a clever method to make women confront misconceptions about their appearance and the result prompts some very emotional reactions.
This ad, featuring an excitable camel, gets a spike in views every Wednesday.
The sequel to the uber-successful "Roller Babies" ad does just fine on its own.
A silly, off-color pun goes from mildly amusing to hilarious in 30 seconds.
A Wes Anderson-esque tale of young love from Turkey.
One of the best-received ads of this year's Super Bowl features a sentimental trainer raising a Clydesdale.
OK it was fake, but it was fun: Nascar driver Jeff Gordon goes incognito for a test drive and an actor does a great job pretending to be freaked out.
More fakery, this time in a coffee shop to promote the movie Carrie. Is it me or does everything seem fake about this? Ironically the movie was overtaken by Gravity at the box office.
Another ad that proves that you don't have to (try to) be funny to be remembered during the Super Bowl. The ad was a rip off of an older one, but this one was much better.
A latecomer, Jean-Claude Van Damme's was the split that was seen round the Internet. People couldn't help passing it around, even though it wasn't nearly as dangerous as it looked.
This ad had everything, including babes, blood and ultraviolence. It's not clear it sold a lot of vodka though.
And this ad couldn't be any more different. A touching ad from Thailand shows how one kind act can change a person's life.
An eloquent British-accented woman explains how to mask the scent of your poo.
An HD dose of aww from the maker of the popular camera.
A great idea to cut down on phone waste and a way to make your phone seem even more like a toy.
An adorable dancing pony. Need we say more?
Guy Ritchie figures out a way to film David Beckham running around in his underwear.
You didn't think we could get through this list without one videogame ad, did you?
A step-by-step guide on how to lend games to friends.
Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg, among other tech luminaries, make a pitch for teaching coding .
