Transformers: Age of Extinction actor Mark Wahlberg will host Nickelodeon's family friendly Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday starting at 8 p.m. ET, with performances from Aloe Blacc and American Authors. The red orange carpet begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
"This year, not only will kids decide who wins the coveted orange blimps, but they have the opportunity to influence the show through a series of live votes," Matthew Evans, senior vice president of digital at Nickelodeon, told Mashable. "We feel the experience on-air and online should extend to all the touch points used by every member of the family."

The March 29 green slime-filled event, honoring celebrities in movies, TV shows and sports, will include appearances from Kristen Bell, Chris Evans, Pharrell Williams, Leah Michelle, Andy Samberg, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, David Blaine, Kevin Hart, Michael Strahan, America Ferrara, LL Cool J, Austin Mahone, Cody Simpson, Shaun White and Will Arnett.
Here are three ways to enjoy the fun online.
Celebrities will be using the many social media booths Nickelodeon has set up at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, including the GIF Booth, Vine 360 Booth and Twitter Selfie Mirror. Viewers can find all of this content on Nick.com and on the Nickelodeon Tumblr page.
A pre-show live stream, hosted by Jeff Sutphen, Instant Mom's Sydney Park and See Dad Run's Ryan Newman, will showcase everything happening on the orange carpet.
Viewers can tune into the second-screen experience on Nick.com or the Nick App.
Viewers can vote to influence the festivities. On Nick.com, people can decide which singer should be slimed with the gooey goodness — Austin Mahone or Cody Simpson.
