করণীয় অনেক কিছুই ছিল, সে তুলনায় জীবনটা বড়ই ছোট....! ক'দিন আগে প্রায় একই theme-এর একটা পোস্ট দিয়েছিলাম, যেখানে একটা ভিডিও ক্লিপ ছিল যাতে প্রচন্ড মুসলিম তথা বাংলাদেশ বিদ্বেষী (যার জন্য তিনি তার হার্ভার্ডের শিক্ষকতার চাকুরী হারিয়েছেন) Subramanian Swamy-র একটা সাক্ষাৎকার ছিল। পোস্টটা কেউ চাইলে এখানে দেখে নিতে পারেন: http://www.somewhereinblog.net/blog/loner356/29534132 সাক্ষাৎকারের একটা মূল বক্তব্য ছিল এরকম যে, Subramanian Swamy-র মতে প্রত্যেক হিন্দুস্থানী মুসলিমকে মেনে নিতে হবে যে, তাদের পূর্বপুরুষ হচ্ছে হিন্দু, তা না হলে তাদের ভোটাধিকার থাকবে না। এ প্রসঙ্গে তিনি আরো বলেন: যারা এটা মেনে নিতে পারে নি বা স্বীকার করতে পারে নি - তাদের জন্য বাসস্থান হিসেবে পাকিস্তান সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল......। যাহোক, আজ আপনাদের সাথে একটা লেখা নিয়ে কিছু আলাপ করবো। লেখাটা প্রকাশিত হয়েছে The Times of India-য়।

লেখার শিরোনাম হচ্ছে: "Bonding with Bangladesh" - বা "বাংলাদেশের সাথে বন্ধন" যেখানে ইনিয়ে বিনিয়ে বলা হয়েছে যে, আমরা আসলে একই জাতি বা আমাদের সম্পর্ক হচ্ছে "ভাই-ভাই" সম্পর্ক ইত্যাদি ইত্যাদি। লেখাটা থেকে আমি কেবল একটা প্যারাগ্রাফ বাংলা অনুবাদ সহ তুলে দিচ্ছি, কিন্তু কেউ চাইলে মূল লেখাটা এখানে দেখতে পাবেন: Click This Link বিশেষ ঐ প্যারাগ্রাফে বলা হচ্ছে: ...."Bangladesh and India are brothers separated by the tumult of history. Language is a great binder between our peoples across the border, as are commonalities in food, dress and custom." অর্থাৎ, "বাংলাদেশ আর ভারত হচ্ছে এমন ভাইয়েরা, যারা ইতিহাসের অস্থিরতা দ্বারা পৃথকীকৃত। ছয় দশক ধরে স্বাধীনভাবে অংকিত (বা খোদাই করা) নিয়তি হয়তো অর্থনীতি, রাজনীতি ও সমাজবিজ্ঞানের নিরিখে আমাদের সামান্য ভিন্ন পথে নিয়ে গিয়েছে; কিন্তু অভিন্ন রক্তধারা (বা রক্তসম্পর্ক) থেকে জন্ম নেয়া গভীর বন্ধনসমূহ কয়েক দশকের মানব-সৃষ্ট বিভক্তির মাধ্যমে মুছে ফেলা যায় না। ভাষা হচ্ছে সীমান্তের দু'পাশে অবস্থিত আমাদের জনগণের মাঝে এক শক্ত বন্ধন, ঠিক যেমন খাবার, পোষাক ও সামাজিক নিয়মনীতির মিলগুলোও (শক্ত বন্ধন)। " মাননীয় পাঠক, আপনারাও কি তাই মনে করেন? এই ব্যাপারে আপনাদের মতামত কি?? ইদানীং কালে, এপার-ওপার দুই পারের আঁতেল ও নেতৃবৃন্দের মুখে "উৎসে ফিরে যাবার" ডাককে, আমার কাছে এক অশনি সংকেতই মনে হয়।

আমাদের কি আবারো (এককালের সাম্যবাদী - পরবর্তীতে হিন্দু মৌলবাদী দল "বিজেপি"তে যোগ দেয়াতে যার মুখোশ উন্মোচিত হয়, সেই) ভূপেন হাজরিকার সুরে সুর মিলিয়ে আবারো বলা হচ্ছে: "এপার ওপার কোন পার জানি না....." ?? সবশেষে ঐ লেখার উপর পাঠকদের ২/১টা মজার মন্তব্য তুলে দিচ্ছি দেখুন: ** "I trust the Jews even more than these cheap, narrow and dark minded treacherous Hindus!" **"Before Indians can have any friendship with Bangladeshi, it's mandatory that Begum Khalida Zia, and her running dogs, the fundamentalist mullahs are arrested en masse, and liquidated. Also all islamic schools funded by Wahabbi finance have to be destroyed. Presently none in Bangladesh is trustworthy. All Bangladeshis rejoice when India is in trouble." **"Before you open up your stinky dirty mouth, why don't you have your murderer daddies like Modi, Advani, Thakere, RSS, Shiva Lingas and the likes of your dirty low selves arrested and liquidated first! India needs to be first brought out to light from its dark and complex dysfunctional mess of thousands of years! Lets then talk about it with the enlighted generation when the likes of you won't exist." **"I think most of the Indians ar not aware of that Bangladesh is now better of India in terms of economic & Social development. Human index is far better in Bangaldesh. Check the facts in internet. It's small country and now they have good government. Don't gauge india's dev with boom in IT and one sided development. Child mortality, child marriage, % of people poverty line, empowering woman etc are far below compared to Bangladesh. Most of the indians don't know about even NE so ignorance about Bangladesh is not a surprise." ।
