ষাইফ গল্পের পাতা থেকে উঠে আসা মানসিক ভাবে অসুস্থ একটি চরিত্র ! ষাইফ একজন ভাম্পায়ার :) তিনি সকল গ্রুপের মানুষের বিশুদ্ধ নিরাপদ রক্ত পান করেন ! তিনি একজন স্বাস্থ্য-সচেতন ভাম্পায়ার :) প্রথমবারে মত সামুতে রাসেল ১৩ হাযির হল আজব এক ক্যাচাল নিয়ে, ক্যাচাল কেনো তা জানতে পারবেন একেবারে শেষে । উইন্ডোজ মানেই এন্টি ভাইরাস সেটআপ দেয়া, আমরা যখনি উইন্ডোজ সেটআপ দেই তখনি নটিফিকেশন বারে "Your computer might be at risk" কথাটা আসতে থাকে । তো এই যখন অবস্থা তখন উইন্ডোজের অনেক ইউজার দেখা গেছে লিনাক্সের দিকে ঝুকে পড়েছে স্বজীবন (দুষ্ট লোকে একে কম্পিউটার বলেও ডাকে) বাঁচাতে ! কিন্তু কথা হোল লিনাক্স সম্পুর্ণরুপে ভাইরাস মুক্ত একটি অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী অপারেটিং সিস্টেম, তবে কেনো এতে আমরা এন্টি ভাইরাস ব্যবহার করবো ? জনপ্রিয় ইংরেজি পত্রিকা পিসি ওয়ার্ল্ড তাদের এক ফিচারে এ নিয়ে আলোচনা করেছেন, আমি সেখান থেকে খুব গুরুত্বপুর্ণ কিছু অংশ তুলে দিলাম । Windows XP, left unpatched, is vulnerable to malware that can make it shrivel up and die within a few minutes of being connected to the Internet. Were you to somehow permit a Linux virus or worm to run on your computer, the fact that you are not logged in on the all-powerful root account prevents the malware from attacking the system's (and other users') files. That's why you typically have to log in as root (with the root password) to change Linux system configurations.
