Microsoft Launches Xbox Music on iOS and Android

Microsoft's Xbox Music service has become available on iOS and Android devices today.
The apps offer ad-free music streaming for subscribers, the ability to add songs, albums and playlists to your Xbox Music collection, playlist syncing with other devices and artist-based radio-stations.
One thing the apps don't offer is offline listening, a functionality that Microsoft claims is coming "soon".

Additionally, web-based music streaming on Xbox Music, previously available only to subscribers, is now open for everyone. The service will stay free (and ad-supported) for 6 months, after which the hours of free streaming will become limited unless you pay the $9.99 monthly fee (or $99.99 per year).
A Microsoft representative told us that new features, such as Radio for the Web and Web Playlist, are coming soon.
With these latest additions, Xbox Music is becoming a serious competitor to services such as Spotify, though Microsoft's offering is still lacking in the area of social sharing.
You can get Xbox Music for iOS here, while the Android version is available here.
