সুন্দর বাংলাদেশ চাই In almost every big city some peoples are seen sticking their eyes on wall posters demonstrating- Learn Freelancing and Start Earning.’ These are advertisement of some freelance training institute those are attracting young community to have a training on some advance computer literacy that offers a greater opportunity of building better career in online marketplace. In these days, very few educated young people will be found who have not heard and expressed interest on freelancing or outsourcing. But unluckily most of them are remaining in vague. This scenario reflects an image of a country, where huge numbers of fresh graduates are seeking for freedom in their workplace. They are not willing to incarcerate themselves in the traditional job. They are educated, bearing empty pockets, have some valuable certificates in their hands but are frustrated for having no satisfactory job. But they are optimistic. As the form of work is changing following the motto, ‘Work differently’ of Elance or ‘Love the Way you Work’ of oDesk, the young generation of Bangladesh are in the right flow. Thousands of registered freelancers from Bangladesh are bringing unbelievable amount of foreign currency each month. They are changing their life and helping change that of others. A freelancer gets more freedom and somewhere earns more than the traditional job holder. Beside of earning from others he or she creates a job market for other too to reduce unemployment from the country. Based with lots of limitation, our freelancers are doing well in most of the fields, like Programming, Web Design, SEO, Affiliating, Blogging, Writing and others. Problems like low internet speed, limited coverage of internet service, high cost of internet are the major factors contributing in preventing freelancers from continuing their business. All of the villages, even some big and famous cities are out of internet coverage. Mobile operators are coming forward to reach the internet facilities to the door of villagers, but the terrible speed of their network isn’t able enough to launch a single webpage. As well as other sector, load shedding is a big threat for freelancing industry. Paypal which is used mostly for online money transaction has not been started yet in Bangladesh. Two years ago freelancers got good news from our government that Paypal is going to start soon. But “the soon” is being washed away with the ripple of time. What can our government do? # Public relation is needed to attract young people for working as freelancer. # Providing proper training to the educated young people. This can be done by the current Youth Development’s Programs those are seen in every sub districts of our country. Besides the present training programs, courses on freelancing should be added and provided at lower or no cost. # Loan for purchasing computers and related accessories should be sanctioned at a low interest. # PayPal and other online transaction method should be started as soon as possible. # Electricity and High speed internet should be sent to every village.
