THE BEGINNING The AIM Charity Foundation started its flight with a packed team of change makers ‘to uphold the humanity’. 2009 EID GIFT DISTRIBUTION In the midst of 50 students of Apon School for the street children at Ramna Park, Eid souvenir was successfully distributed from AIM. Eid gift consists of new Eid dresses. WEBSITE LAUNCHED The website was launched on September [aimdream.org] SHEMAI CHINI PROJECT On 23rd September, the day before the Eid, AIM took an initiative of distributing Gift packets among the distressed people. The packet contained of Shemai, Powder Milk and Sugar. Around 150 families residing in the areas of Dhanmondi Lake, Mirpur Beri Badh were given those packets. EID CELEBRATION PROJECT The volunteers of AIM had spent the evening of EID day with street children of Ramna Park. FREE MEDICAL CAMP A grand event was undertaken on 15th November, containing 12 projects intended for the Streets children of Dhanmondi Lake, where more two charitable and voluntary organization participated as Co-Partners. More than 80 street children were given free medical treatment, gifts were distributed and was entertained. GOVERNMENT REGISTRATION Finally The AIM Charity Foundation got its Registration number – 10522/09 FUND RAISING PROJECT AT DHAKA DENTAL COLLEGE On 8th December, a fund raising venture was done at DDC, where a great rejoinder was given away from the DDC students. WINTER CLOTH DISTRIBUTION [PHASE 1] More than 100 new blankets were distributed on 14th December among the street dwelling, homeless poor people of countless parts of Dhaka City. SHEBAR MADDHOME BIJOYER PROKASH AIM as usual, believes in learning through partnership. With 44 other organizations participated in the Grand event to celebrate the 38th Victory Day through volunteerism. FUND RAISING PROJECT AT IDEAL SCHOOL AND COLLEGE A 5 day long fund raising project was taken, were a vast number of new volunteers participated. The amount of fund raised was unexpectedly huge. 2010 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME A project was launched on the eve of New Year, to provide ‘A yearlong Scholarship’ to poor and needy students of different parts of Bangladesh. It started with 3 students. BLANKET DONATION TO DMC WITER CLOTH DISTRIBUTION EVENT Some brand new blankets were donated from AIM for free distribution, to an event organized by the students of Dhaka Medical College. FUND RAISING PROJECT AT BICC English medium students carried out a fund raising project at Bangabandhu Int Conference Center along with other volunteers on different dates, during the O/A Level exam, among the guardians and Exam Candidates. FUND RAISING PROJECT AT BASHUNDHARA CONVENTION CENTER Fund raising among the O/A Level Exam Candidates were superb, they participated eagerly. WINTER CLOTH DISTRIBUTION [PHASE 2] Phase 2 of winter cloth distribution took place at Kurigram on 15th January. 200 brand new blankets and 150 new sweaters were distributed at Chilmari, Tabokpur, Nadir Ghat, Kurigram. UPCOMING PROJECTS • WINTER CLOTH DISTRIBUTION [PHASE 3] • Allotment of educational materials • Allotment of educational materials in the midst of the underprivileged children or street children. • Donation for the cause of educational purposes especially for registration fees or monthly school bill of the poor students. • Sharing of foods & cloths among the poor people specially children or disabled person. • Circulation of bed sheets or home commodities to the slum dwellers. • Giving out dolls and playing bits and pieces among the street babies or underprivileged kids. • Hoisting awareness among the illiterate people on diverse concern. • Founding Street Schools or Park Schools or permanent Technical Institutions for the very prospective unfortunate students. • Exposing Street Shows by means of Multimedia projector for the street kids to elevate consciousness or to illustrate a pure smile on their expression. • Accomplishing survey among the street children or underprivileged kids correlated to their life style or their demand and publishing those in front of the National Media. • Standing-in as a helping hand for the diseased children by bestowing medicine or even their treatment charge. • Generating stable employment prospects for the probable youths who are financially not solvent. • Establishing a non commercial Orphan House or an Old Home.
