There are debate abt changing BDR name and its dress those do not support the have the following causes : 1, There had been many mutiny in Army since 1975, did army name was changed ? 2, This BDR fAUGHT padua AND BOROIGRAM battle w8 India AND Rezu Para Battle w8 Burma, and this name BDR is a panic to INDIA and Burma, So changing name will demoralize troops , 3, If we change the dress and name can we change their character and the reasons for which this BDR jawans were devoted to stage this mutiny 4, The change of BDR name and change of dress shall take BDR for life time a conflicting force with Army and that is not good for this nation, rather we should think how to get BDR in confidence , Those who think change of BDR Name and dress is justified there causes are as followings : 1, This BDR uniform and name is no more accepted to their leader (Army officers) 2, The BDR Name and Dress represents those rebels who are known as rebel and a threat to Bangladesh security. 3. This BDR name and dress was changed no of time before, even from the Britisher age till independence , so changing of name is not un precedent to them, so it can always be changed 4.
