WHEN YOU HAVE THE FAITH OF THE SIZE OF A MASTARD SEED......YOU CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS!
There is a saying about the politicians :" All the politicians are equal ;they always promise to build a bridge where there is no river!"The Bashundhara City fire incident reminds me of this popular saying about the politicians once again. You may ask me why are you so rude about the politicians?Well i cant help it ....its those politicians who reminds us those things by their actions!Lets have look how our politicians made a political solution on this issue:
1.We have a ex fashion Model type assistant home minister who spared his valuable time (which he couldn't spare during BDR incident) to come all the way to Bashundhara city and make this comment :"Next time we will take care about giving permission of Building such a huge establishment as we don't have the fire fighting equipments available with the fire service to fight in case if fire breaks out!"
2.We have a Non fashionable type home minister who also took her ex BDR incident type initiative to go all the way to Bashundhara city and do nothing!Well i am sorry she did something.Off course she made a political solution of the incident , she made a promise to develop our Fire Service Department!
3.We have our honorable Prime Minister who also could spare her time to come and see the Bashundhara City Burning but couldn't make a little time to go and see those officers dying inside BDR during BDR the crisis! Why ?Did she also had the scarcity of equipments like Fire Service to reach the spot? Her SSF,PGR,RAB were not enough to give her security to go to Pilkhana?and now she made her timeto come to see a building burning and she made the greatest promise of the year that she will form a 3 man Investigation team to find out who burned Bashundhara City
4.Now there is another saying that a Cow can never work as a Horse. But proving it wrong our honorable PM this time detailed some retired Major General Tarik as the chief coordinator of the Crisis management team!May i ask who would be a better choice for taking care of a fire fighting crisis? The DG Fire Service or the retired Major General from a political team ?Here i would like to mention during the BDR crisis our "crisis management in political way" expert PM detailed so called MP NANOK who knew nothing about handling a mutiny or military crisis , as the chief coordinator and he successfully presented us 80 dead Army officers
5.Few days back during the BDR crisis one participant in a talk show made a comment,"WHEN PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH ARE IN ANY CRISIS,THEY CALL TWO PERSON...FIRST THEY CALL ALLAH AND THEN THEY CALL ARMY!"...and proving it true once again our ARMY was called to manage the fire! Can our Army really fight this fire?are they trained like the fire fighters?army has got the equipments to fight the fire?......no ,no no! why army then?......because we have nobody else to call! ...they are always beside our countrymen in all the crisis. But did the country stand beside army during its crisis?did the govt act that fast when army was in crisis?did the PM visit the victims when the crisis was on?did our super model assistant home minister cancelled his USA fun trip and stand beside army? Was there any military officer detailed as chief coordinator to handle the crisis?........they have a good answer for this,"WE SOLVED IT IN A POLITICAL WAY!"
well if so lets see how the political solution works for the Bashundhara City!
