a great thanks to all of you who came to visit us at somewhere in... yesterday, it felt good to spend the bijoy dibosh day discussing the history and bloggers role amongs many other good things that came up.
it seems that the vaffels i made were appreciated, so here is the recipe:
0.7 l milk
3 eggs
1 l flour
1 cup/0.2 l ghee
1 cup/0.2 l sugar
1 tea spoon salt
1 heartfull love
mix all ingredients well until no lumps and leave for 30 mins so that the love can spread all over.
you should have a vaffel maker machine (hard to get). pre-heat it (but dont use your finger to test whether warm enough). spread some ghee also on top and bottom side of the iron and pour 1/2 cup vaffel mix into the iron, close and think warmly about each of your guests while baking. the nice smell while baking may make you mouth water. carefully open the machine and make sure not to drool on the vaffel when transfering to a serving tray.
if you don´t have a vaffel maker, pre heat a frying pan or anything made of iron/steel with a flat bottom, add half tea spoon of ghee and pour in 1/2 cup to make a 4", 1cm thick round vaffel. bake it on both sides and remove when golden colour on both sides
serve as is or with jam/suger/cream and a smile. vaffel is not listed under health food and side effects may be unstoppable adda, excess flattering and over eating. use with care.
