Load shedding Load shedding means the suspension of the supply of electricity for a certain period. It has become a regular affair in our country. Load shedding is occurring for different causes. The insufficient production of electricity is main cause of load shedding. Misuse of electricity is another of cause of it. Illegal connection of electricity is also responsible for load shedding. On the other hand, government is not sincere to produce electricity in proportion to our demand. So due to load shedding production of mills and factories are decreases. Frees food taken in the refrigerator are gets rotten. Load shedding at mid night encourages the miscreants in their violent works. It also disturbs the study of students. After all it affects the economy of our country. So our government should establish more plant and power houses to solve this problem. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped. ****************** 2. A book fair A book fair is fair where different types of books are displayed and sold. Now a day it becomes very popular in our country. I was very lucky to visit the Ekushy Boi Mela this year. Every this fair is held on the occasion of 21st February. It reminds us the struggle and sacrifice in the language movement. The fair was organized by bangle academy in the premises of the institution. I went there with some of my friends. I found all sorts of book such as text book, story book, drama book, children book, reference book etc. men women and children of different age and classes are gather here. From a book stall I bought some favorite books. In the evening many poet, novelist and writer come here to visit the fair. Seminar and cultural programs are also held in the fair. Book fair is important because it upgrades our thought and expands our knowledge. ************************************************* 3. Water pollution Water is a very important element of human environment. It is liquid substance. It is a compound of hydrogen and oxygen. It is an essential elements of nature because saves all kind lives in the earth. Clean water is healthy but when it is polluted it is very harmful for human and others. It can be polluted in many ways. It is polluted by waste and filth. Water is polluted by using chemical fertilizers and various insecticides in the field. When mills and factories throw their waste product in to rivers and canals, then water become polluted. Again motor launches, steamers polluted water by throwing oil. By drinking this polluted water we become sick and finally die. So should prevent water pollution. Water can be purified by boiling it and using purified tablets. We can not live without pure water. Above all, for a healthy and happier life we should drink pure water. ****************************** **************************** 4. The life of a farmer Bangladesh is an agricultural country. About 80% people of our country are involved with agriculture. The people who cultivate the land and grow crops and foods are called farmer. An ideal farmer is a very important in our country. Generally in our country they live in village. His house is made of tin or straw. An ideal farmer lives a very simple life. He earns his livelihood by the sweet of his brow. He works from morning till evening. He gets up very early in the morning and takes a little breakfast. He goes to field with his wooden plough and a pair of bullocks. He cultivates and prepares his land with simple hand made tools. Some time he is too busy that he can not make time to go home for noonday meal. He has both pleasure and pains in his life. He gets pleasure when he has a good harvest. But he gets pains when his crops are destroyed by drought, flood or cyclones. Though a farmer works hard he does not get enough to eat. He lives from hand to mouth. He also suffers from many diseases. An ideal farmer is an asset in our country. He contributes a lot to the economy. So all of us should respects to him. ********************************************************** 5.Junk food Junk food is a food that is produce for its pungent test. But it has no health value. People eat these at sometime. It looks very appealing. It is testy to eat. It often contains additional unhealthy chemical that makes it delicious. It usually contains animal fat or sugar. Junk food like chips, cakes, burgers, crisps and biscuit are full of animal fats. Sweets and fizzy drinks like cola and lemonade are high in sugar. A large amount of fat makes more fatty tissue. A large amount of sugar can damage our teeth and skin. Junk food lacks vitamins and minerals that is needed for our health. On the whole junk food is injurious to health. So we should avoid eating junk food and we eat fresh homemade foods which means fresh garden food that is prepared at home.
