iPhone 5C Gets Colorful Reactions and Other Top Comments

Apple supporters were quick to defend the company against Nokia's attack by insisting that the colorful iPod mini was the true trendsetter for colorful tech.

Though many were upset by AT&T's post on Sept. 11, Alan Pugh said all of the companies that made a statement on this day were advertising to some extent.
Jonathan Casella claimed that if the brands had just ignored the day, treating it like any other, it would have been just as bad and upset just as many people.
Apple announced two new iPhones on Tuesday: the affordable and colorful iPhone 5C and the next-generation iPhone 5S. Despite the innovative new features of the 5S, it was the 5C that had everyone talking.
The new smartphone is made out of plastic, and comes in five different colors: white, pink, yellow, blue and green. Apple's budget iPhone has been polarizing, with some commenters lamenting the end of Apple as we know it, and others saying it's the perfect phone for their needs and price range.

The unveiling of the much-anticipated iPhone 5C had competitors talking, as well. Nokia took the opportunity to tease Apple on social media by pointing out that the 5C looked a lot like the Lumia, among other things.
On the business side, AT&T had the Internet in an uproar when it posted a Sept. 11 tribute, which featured a cell phone. Many felt it was a tasteless advertising ploy, and said companies shouldn't comment at all, considering the tragedy surrounding the day. Mashable readers, however, generally felt that people were overreacting, claiming that it would have been worse if companies simply ignored Sept. 11 altogether.
