The Muppets received zero Golden Globe nominations this year. Zero.
That award show tragedy irked Kermit, Beaker and their felt friends enough to debut a commercial during Sunday night's show. The ad features a Twitter fight between @HotFudge1218 and @Babybean1128, an exchange that took place Jan. 9.

The Muppet-fueled feud was likely a stunt for the Muppets' new film considering @Babybean1128 didn't launch a Twitter account until Jan. 8. Or maybe Twitter newbies just get really angry about Muppets.
Muppets Most Wanted debuts in theaters — and is eligible for award nominations — March 21.
