Calling all hackers who love to travel!
Boston coders can team up with other travel enthusiasts in the Boston area for MashHacks: Travel, presented by Emirates Airlines. This one-day hackathon will bring together programmers, designers and tech buffs to create apps that will change the way we travel the globe.
The hackathon will start at 8:30 a.m. on March 22 at hack/reduce, a local hack-space that facilitates hackathons and supports innovation in the Boston tech community. Mashable and Emirates Airlines are joining forces to challenge Boston to create innovative, creative travel apps that make travel easier, more accessible and fun.
Judges will be looking for apps that have the potential to shape the way we travel in the future: What developments will define the travel industry in the next decade?
The first place team will win round-trip tickets on Emirates Airlines from Boston to Dubai. Second and third place teams will win cash prizes.
