Coldplay debuted a new song called "Midnight" on Tuesday, and with it, a music video that had a new sound for the alternative rock band.
"Midnight" hints at a possible upcoming sixth studio album from Coldplay, which would follow the band's 2011 album Mylo Xyloto. However, an official release has not yet been announced or confirmed.

Directed by Mary Wigmore, the music video for "Midnight" shows the band members through a negative filter as they encounter deer and climb trees in a patch of woods. Its trippy atmosphere reflects the single's soft, electronic sound and harmonizing vocals.
This is the first music video from Coldplay since its October 2012 video for "Hurts Like Heaven."

It sounds hopeful, but "Bittersweet Symphony" is a song about feeling powerless.The lyrics suggest the misery of feeling trapped in your life due to circumstances beyond your control. It's about the absolute misery of everyday struggle.
