Today, Google celebrates the spring equinox with a flowery, animated Doodle.
Google's homepage features a character that'll pour water above the search bar, causing sprouts to shoot up and turn into the familiar Google logo.

The spring equinox usually occurs around March 20, when the Sun crosses directly over the Earth's equator.

Around this time, day and night are approximately the same length, and symbolically, this event is celebrated as the change of seasons — from winter to spring.
