Google Naps Shows You Best Places to Snooze

In need of a mid-afternoon snooze? There's an app for that. Well, sort of.

Dutch-based creative agencies Kakhiel, Venour and Biko created Google Naps as a parody of Google's popular mapping application. To avoid any legal scandal, the creators also left a good-natured message to any Google employees on the site.

Dear Sergey & Larry (and other Googlers),

Hello, please don't be mad this is just a joke, a parody. We don't mean to damage your brand or anything, we just want to bring a smile on the faces of Google fans. So please don't take this to court, we only have a few hundred Euros in the bank. And we also don't want to go to jail because we're too busy with other things at the moment.

The message also offers Googlers comfy couches to sleep on, coffee and baked eggs, if they ever find themselves in the Netherlands — for a nominal fee, of course.

Napping spots are submitted by fellow users and are mostly places like public benches or park fields. It may not be practical, but that's probably the least of your worries when you're desperate for a snooze.

"We hope Google will join in and take this to the next level," a representative from Kakhiel told Mashable. "We created demand, now lets hope Google can help us supply."
