প্রিয় পাঠকেরা, somewhere in এ আমার প্রথম ব্লগ এ স্বাগতম। বর্তমান দুনিয়ার বহুল আলোচিত সর্বশেষ স্পেস শাটল STS 135- Atlantis এর কথা বলছি। স্পেস শাটল হল এমন টেকনোলজি যেটা দিয়া পৃথিবীর অরবিট ভ্রমণকারী মহাকাশযানকে বারবার ব্যবহার করা যায়। একমাত্র USA এর NASA( National Aeronautics and Space Administration) এই টেকনোলজি ব্যবহার করেছে। ১২ দিন এর মিশন এ আটলান্তিয়াস ৪ জন মহাকাশযাত্রী নিয়া ইন্টারন্যাশনাল মহাকাশ কেন্দ্রতে খাদ্য এবং যন্ত্রপাতি নিয়া যাবে। দুনিয়াতে ফিরলেই আকাশচারী আটলান্তিয়াস , জাদুঘর এর পুতুল হইয়া যাবে। প্রশ্ন জাগে , কেন শেষ মিশন ? কোন সরাসরি জাবাব পাওয়া না গেলে ও , নাসার কিছু উচ্চপদস্থ কর্মকর্তার কথা শুনে বুঝা গেল , চলমান আর্থিক মন্দাই এর মুল কারন। "It is a sad time," NASA astronaut Terry Virts said, reflecting on what he called the "passion" of many of his coworkers. "The sad part about it is that we won't have an American ability to launch astronauts anymore." "Over three decades, the shuttle has brought this nation many firsts, and many, many proud moments," Bolden said. "The shuttle pioneers have made the next chapter of human spaceflight possible."
