Once again, AIUB is the proud home of the Champions and 2nd Runner-up of the Cisco SAARC NetRiders Competition held on September 23, 2010. The competition took place virtually over Cisco WebEx Technology. Top 3 winners of the Cisco National NetRiders Competition 2010 from each country participated in the event. Bangladesh was represented by 3 teams from AIUB consisting of 3 members in each team.
‘AIUB Leaders’ consisting of Kazi Ehtesham Shahid, Khalid Ibne Asad, and Mirza Jubayar Siddiq and ‘AIUB Fiber’ consisting of Md. Monirul Haque, Ahmad Jamil, and Md. Nasir Uddin Khan jointly became Champion while the other team ‘AIUB Platinum’ consisting of S.B. Tauseef, Abrar Faisal, Fouziatun Nahar became 2nd Runner-up in this prestigious event. These students have brought honor and glory to Bangladesh and to AIUB. The entire AIUB community is proud of their great achievement. Also kudos to AIUB Cisco Networking Academy team for their tireless effort and dedication in preparing the teams. Congratulations! I am proud to be an AIUBian.
