নিম্নে উল্লেখিত চিঠিটি বাংলা সাহিত্যের বহুল পঠিত একটি উপন্যাসের নায়িকাকে লেখা প্রপোজাল পত্র। এই চিঠিটি পড়তে পড়তে মনে হয় কেউ যদি আমাকে এমন করে একটি চিঠি দিত। এই উপন্যাসটি আমার বিশ্বাস ব্লগের বেশীরভাগ ব্লগার পড়েছেন। আমি উপন্যাসটি অনেক বার পড়েছি।

প্রতিবার পড়তে বসেই মনে হয়েছে আগে নায়কের যে বক্তব্য ছিল তা পড়তে হত। এখন আবারও পড়ছি। পড়তে বসে আবারও মনে হয়েছে কেন যে এই বইটা আগে নিলাম বিদেশী লেখকেরটা আগে কেন হাতে নিলাম না। এই উপন্যাসটি আমার প্রিয় একটি উপন্যাস। এই উপন্যাসের প্রথন লাইনটি আমার আরও বেশি প্রিয়।

কারন আমার জন্মদিন যে ১লা সেপটেম্বর। যাই হোক চিঠিটি আমি নিচে তুলে দিচ্ছি। সবার জন্য ধাঁধাঁ। উপন্যাসটির নাম কি এবং চিঠিটি কাকে লেখা ?
