Samvala is a real thriller indeed! Every page makes you wait for the next one ,I completed reading the book at a stretch .I am enthralled to find such an exquisite peace of thriller in Bangla literature .To the thriller enthusiasts it will be completely a new experience to turn each page of Samvala. I am especially amazed at the manner of storytelling and story building. Mystery and history-both goes hand in hand in Samvala, one moment you are in the busy steets of Dhaka in another moment the writer takes you to the royal chamber of King Solomon .The story starts in a small village of Bangladesh with a much familiar setting but I can guarantee that the tweaks and twists offered in the story will make you dumbfounded .
It is true that the topics such as treasure hunting, black magic etc are not new to the ardent readers as previous attempts have been made by Ali Imam, Tarashonkor to introduce these dark sides of mystery to us but the credit of the writer is that he had been able to interwoven these ideas in such a compelling manner that readers will definitely find it mesmerizing .May be Samvala is the first attempt in Bangla literature to blend historical events with chilling adventures-a daunting task for a writer requiring huge research and devotion.
