It's the best Christmas present we could ask for on Saturday Night Live: Jimmy Fallon is returning to host, and his longtime friend (and costar in several viral videos) Justin Timberlake will appear as the musical guest.
The bottom line: It's going to be a good episode.

Only Fallon appears in the promos for this weekend's episode, but even JT-less, they include some musical flavor as Fallon duets with two SNL cast members. He and Kenan Thompson hilariously attempt JT's "Mirrors," followed by a catchy duet with Kate McKinnon. Fallon also gets giddy remembering his old stomping grounds, where he anchored "Weekend Update" alongside Tina Fey.
Fallon and Timberlake appeared together in SNL skits in 2003 when Fallon was a cast member and Timberlake hosted:
Timberlake has hosted SNL five times, and he's probably most remembered for his epic "D*ck in a Box" sketch. Of course, he's only set to perform on Saturday's episode, but if the show's writers know what's good for them, they'll make sure JT gets some screen time with his pal.
