I’ve not had yet an opportunity to read the book entitled “Stop Genocide by our popular writer and intellectual Zahir Rayhan”. But one thing I can guess that is: when the oppression of Pakistani Government touched the border line of oppression and when the people of East Pakistan were being shot to kill people like a ferocious beast while people uttering their minimum right for speaking the truth. Perhaps, our great writer just then uttered the conscious words “Stop Genocide”. But that was against the autocra of Pakistan. To utter the words was then the demand of the time. That is why, uttering the words against the despotic Government Zahir Rayhan introduced himself as a brave, authentic patriotic. Now we are citizen of independence country. But what has been happening in our Golden, Green bangle since last two years is very disappointing!! We are being still ruled over by a despotic Governor being free! But we can’t say, can’t uttered “Stop Genocide”!!!! Where’ll we go? To whom will we complain for our misery? ONLY ALMIGHTY CAN RESCUE US FROM THIS MASSACRE SITUATION.
