Scientific Miracles of the Holy Quran

Matha kharap

Not only does the miraculous holy Quran have scientific facts present in its verses but it is also a mathematical miracle in lexical harmony and I have found a few examples which I have listed below. 1) The word “a day” (yewm) is used 365 times in the Quran. The figure 365 does not only represent the number of days in the calendar, but it is also the figure that shows the astronomic relationship between our world and the sun. When our world completes its round around the sun, it has revolved 365 times around its own axis. In other words, when the world has completed its cycle around the sun, this means we have lived 365 days on earth. It is important that the word “one day” has been used 365 times in the Quran, because the world’s revolution around the sun takes 365 days. The exact number 365 is not accidental! This word alone is enough to show that there is a conscious order in the Quran. 2) The different use of the word “day” in the Quran is a miraculous phenomenon. While the singular word “a day” is used 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yewmeyn) is used 30 times. This represents the number of the days in a month which is 30. So it is meaningful that while the singular “day” (yewm) is mentioned 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yevmeyn) is mentioned 30 times. In the solar calendar, the months have either 30 or 31 days and in the lunar calendar the months have either 29 or 30 days. So, the number 30 is the intersection group for both calendars. In the community to which the Quran was revealed, the lunar calendar was in use; the mention of “30” is therefore meaningful. It takes 29.53 days for the moon, the planet in the sky, to make a month. The rounded figure is 30. With such mathematical miracles, we witness that the Quran calculates correctly this rounding up business. Likewise, the world completes its cycle around the sun in 365.25 days exactly. The rounded figure is 365. 3) We saw that the singular “day” (yewm) is mentioned 365 times, and the plural of it, 30 times in the Quran. The use of all the derivatives of the word “day” is 475. This means that the singular, plural and all the other derivatives totals up to 475. 475 is equal to 19X25. Like the multiplier 19, the number 25 also has a significant meaning. As we have already mentioned, days are formed as a result of the relationship between the earth and the sun. The earth revolves around its own axis 365 times while completing its cycle around the sun and during this time the sun also revolves around itself. As the earth revolves around itself 365 times, the sun revolves around itself 25 times exactly. This number, pointed out by the miracle is easy to understand but impossible to imitate, and was not known at the time of the descent of the Quran in the region in question. They had no idea about it. It is a miracle that the Quran, by references to repeated numbers, points out; and the fact that those numbers indicated things unknown at the time is another miracle. On the other hand, the figure19, multiplier of 25 has an important role within the context of the concept of the relationship between the sun, the earth and day. Because a meton cycle that is when the sun, the earth and the moon come to a same line, occurs in every 19 years. That is to say, the sun turns around itself the number 19X25=475 times in a Meton cycle. Yes, exactly 475 times. This number is equal to the number of times the derivatives of the word “day” is used in the Quran. 4) We saw earlier that the word “day” in the Quran, with its singular, plural and derivative uses constitutes a miracle. Apart from this, the noun phrases of the same word also produce mathematical miracles as well. For example, we see this miracle in phrases like “that day” used in connection with the end of the world (yewme izin) and “the day” used in connection with “the day of resurrection” (yewmül qiyameh). Both noun phrases are used exactly 70 times each. 5) The word moon (Qamar), is used exactly 27 times in the Quran together with its derivatives. This number is equal to the number which is the moon’s ecliptic cycle around the world. 6) The earth’s revolution around the sun makes 365 days while, the moon’s 12 revolutions around the earth makes12 months. The Quran says that there are 12 months in year. As we all know, a year consists of 12 months. On the other hand, in the Quran, the word “a month” (þehr) is also mentioned 12 times to indicate that there are 12 months in a year. 7) The word sea (bahr) is used 32 times in the Quran. The word bahr is used both for the sea and other waters like lakes and rivers. The word land (berr, yabas) is used 13 times. If we calculate the ratio of 32 to 45 the result is 71.111% to 28.888%. You may look up in any encyclopaedia in the world and see that the oceans cover 71% of the earth whereas the lands cover 29% of it. It is really an interesting scientific miracle that the Quranic ratios of the lands to the seas are exactly the same. This knowledge which was not available in Muhammad’s time is coded in the Quran with concordance of words. People who will outgrow their stubbornness will see that this is an easy to understand and impossible to imitate miracle. 8) In the Quran, it is told that the heavens (atmosphere) were created in seven layers. I have mentioned this as point number 26 above. The term “seven heavens” is used seven times in the Quran. Ch. No.2, The Cow, Verse No. 29, Ch. No.17 The Children of Israel, Verse No. 44, Ch. No.23 The Believers, Verse No. 86, Ch. No.41 Elucidated, Verse No.12, Ch. No.65 Divorce, Verse No. 12, Ch. No.67 The Kingdom, Verse No. 3 and Ch. No.71 Noah, Verse No. 15 9) The Quran speaks of two lives: the one in this “world” (Dunya), which is finite, and the other in the “hereafter” (Ahiret) which is infinite. The relation between these words in the Quran is very clear. These two words which are used sometimes together in a verse and sometimes separately, are mentioned 115 times each. 10) The word “angel” associates in many people the idea of the “devil” itself. All derivatives of these two interrelated words are used in the Quran 88 times each. It is interesting to note that the most frequent form of these two words “eþ-þeytan” and “el-melaike” are used, 68 times each in the Quran. 11) The word “benefit” (en nef) is used 50 times in the Quran with all its derivatives. The same is true for the word “corrupt” (fesad), that is, it and its derivatives are used 50 times as well. Corruption (fesad) is a social evil and condemned by the Quran. A person can not benefit (en nef) from corruption (fesad). The result of corruption is the opposite of benefit. The use of these two words with negative meanings being in equal number can not be a coincidence. 12) The word “sexual crime” (fahsha) and its derivatives are used 24 times in the Quran. The word “transgression” (baghy) and its derivatives are used 24 times also. Since these behaviours deserve wrath, the word “wrath” also is used 24 times in the Quran. 13) In the Quran, the words dirtiness (rics) and nastiness (ricz) have almost similar pronunciation and spelling: the word “rics” refers to dirtiness brought by human hand and the word “ricz” refers to nastiness caused by the dirtiness generated by human hand. These two words are used 10 times in order to show the relation between them. 14) The words “openly” and “publicly”, have close meanings. The successive use of these words, in the sura Noah, 8th and 9th verses, points to the relation of these words. These two related words are used 16 times each in the Quran. 15) In the Quran, we are told that Satan is the enemy of mankind. Muslims should “seek refuge” in God in order to be protected from the evil of “Satan”. The relationship between these two words is crystal clear for the people who know the Quran. These two words are used in equal numbers i.e., 11 times each. 16) In order to have someone do something, people use different methods like rewarding, punishment or advising. In rewarding, there is something pleasant and in punishment there is something unpleasant. In the process of advising language is used as a tool. The difference between advice and rewarding and punishment is; advising is done only by using the language as a tool where as many other tools can be used for the other two methods. These two connected words, “language” (lisan) and “advice” (mevize) are used in equal numbers, 25 times each. 17) Many sentences in the Quran are in the form of reported speech using the formula “they said” (Qalu) and yet many orders are expressed by another formula “say” (Qul). These two words which have very clear relationships are used many times in the Quran; 332 times each. 18) In the Quran, the words “mercy” (rahmet) and “guide” (hüda) are used together in 13 verses. Actually only this is enough to show the relation between these words. God’s guidance of mankind is the biggest mercy for them. These two words are used in the Quran 79 times each in the same format. 19) The word “birr”, which means righteousness and all its derivatives, are mentioned 20 times the Quran. God informs us that we shall reap what we have sown in the next world. None of our good deeds will be left unrewarded. All the derivatives of the word “reward” (sewab) good deeds are used in equal numbers, i.e. 20 times. 20) The Quran mentions that “hope” (raghben) and “fear” (reheben) should co exist in praying ritual. Keeping these two conflicting feelings in balance will save us from despair, on one hand and from being spoiled and arrogant on the other. These two words, used in conjunction and present two divergent feelings, are mentioned 8 times each, in the Quran. 21) If you ask someone to tell the first thing that comes into his mind when he hears the word “cold”, his answer will usually be “hot”. One of these two opposites, “hot” (hare) is mentioned 4 times with all its derivatives while; the word “cold” (berd) is also mentioned 4 times. 22) The word “heraset” which means planting the crops, is mentioned 14 times in the Quran. “Ziraat” which means growing of the crops from the earth is also mentioned 14 times. The final result of all these steps, the “fruit” (fakihe), is again mentioned 14 times. 23) The word “shecer” which means “tree” and all of its derivatives are mentioned 26 times in the Quran. The word “nebat” which means “plant” and all of its derivatives are also used 26 times. 24) The word “rich” (ghani) in the Quran is mentioned 26 times. The opposite, “poor” (fakr) is mentioned 13 times, half as much. It is another miracle of the Quran that these opposite words which have a meaning relationship also represent a numerical miracle. 25) The Quran states that our destination (mesir) is God and the place we will go is hereafter. It is one of the most important messages of the Quran that our final destiny (mesir) in hereafter will be forever. (ebeden). These two words, destination (mesir) and forever (ebeden), which are clearly interrelated, are used in the Quran in equal number, viz. 28 times each. 26) The word “act” (fiil) is mentioned 108 times in the Quran. The acts we perform will be responded (ecir) when the time comes. Whether we like or dislike the respond (ecir), it will be the consequence of our acts (fiil). And these words, “act” (fiil) and “respond” (ecir) in close relations to each other, are used in equal number in the Quran, 108 times each. 27) The most important source of light (nur) that comes to our world is the sun. Even the light (nur) from the moon is sun’s light because moon only reflects the sun’s light. Our sun is the source of light and heat. The relation between the words “sun” (shems) and “a light” (nur) is clear and these two words are used 33 times each. The singular form of light, “a light” is mentioned 33 times. Our sun is just one of the many light sources in the universe, but it is the most important one for us. The word “light” mentioned 33 times in the Quran is used equally 33 times with the word “sun” which itself is light. 28) The word “dayg” which means “annoyance and distress” and all its derivatives are mentioned 13 times in the Quran. The opposite, “tamaniyye” which means rejoice is mentioned in equal number, viz. 13 times also. 29) The word “qýst” which means “justice” is mentioned 15 times in the Quran in infinitive form. The opposite “zulm” which is “injustice” is also mentioned 15 times in the same form. 30) Verse 67 of the sura The Believer and the verse 14 of the sura The Belivers refer to the stages of the creation of the man. We can sum up the stages until the time of the birth under 6 head lines: 1- dust, 2- drop (sperm), 3- the hanging (the hanging on the womb wall), 4- a bite size meat, 5- the bones, 6- flesh. The words that describe the stages are mentioned as follows ; 1- dust (turab) 17 times 2- drop (nutfe) 12 times 3- the hanging (alaq) 6 times 4- a bite size meat (mudgha) 3 times 5- the bones (izame) 15 times 6- flesh (lahm) 12 times. These stages man undergo before his birth are used 65 times in total. And the word “man” is also used 65 times in the Quran. Can all this be the consequence of coincidences? 31) The 59th verse of the sura The Family of Imran, points to a similarity between Adam and Jesus. There is no other comparison like that between any other two prophets in the Quran. How many times are these prophets’ names used in the Quran? In equal number, exactly 25 time each. 32) The word messenger’s (resul) noun derivatives are used 368 times. In the Quran, the words meaning “people” and all their derivatives are used 368 times. These words are derived from the roots “nas” and “beþer”. (The derivatives of these words are as follows: nas, insan, ins, unas, enasiyye, insiyye, beþer, beþeren, bþereyni) Messenger is a person sent to people whose mission is to transfer God’s message to men. The relationship between “people” and “messenger” is clear and this relation is reflected perfectly with the exact same use of these words in such a great number, 368 times each. I have only mentioned some of the mathematical miracles in the Quran. There is not a second book which has so many mathematical lexical concordance and miracles. The Quran not only presents miracles from space high above to depths of the oceans, from mother’s womb to animal kingdoms, it also shows mathematical miracles by using words and phrases in concordance. It also accomplishes an important mission by introducing our creator to us. ফোর মোর ভিসিট Click This Link
