Last night I was listening to radio. Then suddenly I found that there is gonna be a drama by LoveGuru in Radio Amar. So I listened to it. Let me share the story with you. The story is of two young couple. Their names are Amit and Labonno. They were students of some university and they were quite matured as they were about to complete the study. Amit and Labonno had very deep love within each other and everyone in the university knew it. Amit was a brilliant boy. He was the first class first, also a good debater. Both of them were a part of a drama team. They used to perform in stage drama. There life was going on in a good rhythm. Then suddenly one day, Amit got a phone call from the group leader of their drama team. A drama is gonna be staged for the celebration of independence day in march 26. Amit and Labonno were asked to perform. Amit was given a part of a freedom fighter and Labonno got a role of a BEERANGNA. Amit became very excited about his role. He became very excited when he did the rehearsal. But whenever Amit tried to talk about liberation war with Labonno, there was something wrong. Labonno seemed to be very non reactive when Amit was bubbling with enthusiasm about the liberation war. Amit asked Labonno repeated times that whats wrong, but somehow Labonno avoided. Then one day, Labonno told Amit a big secret. She told him why she becomes so silent when Amit picks the topic of liberation war. The truth is that Labonno was a daughter of a BIRANGNA. She told Amit how people looked at her whenever someone come to know this fact. But as a matter of fact, Labonno was born 13 years after liberation war but people looked at her like a illegal child. Labonno tried to tell Amit the truth earlier but she was worried if Amit also come out as a typical male. Amit was fully shocked to hear it. He became very angry coz he thought Labonno cheated him. He started to avoid Labonno. One day Labonno made him compiled to talk about it. Then Amit said he cant live with this scandal. He has to live in the society. And finally he said that he cant marry a daughter of a BIRANGNA even though she is born 13 years after the war. Labonno was shocked to her utmost level to find out that her dream love was totally crushed. Amit also talked about it with his father and his younger sister. Both of them said that its true that we should respect BIRANGNA but no, we cant bring a daughter of a BIRANGNA as a bride. Their society will not permit it. Reality is different. More or less, this is the whole story. LoveGuru eventually showed in the end that Amit changed his mind but that is not realistic so I am concluding the story here. I have never really thought about this such situation. I mean what is wrong if I marry a daughter of a BIRANGNA. And the child is born 13 yrs after lib war. So whats wrong? Can you tell me?
