Just like Pi Day has its time to shine on March 14 (3.14), General Electric is kicking off the world’s first #GravityDay on September 8 (based on the force of gravity being 9.8 m/s²). And what better way to celebrate than with gravity’s most iconic object — Newton’s apple.
Joining the world’s longest Apple Drop on Vine is simple: Just grab an apple and a friend. Start by filming yourself catching the apple from above. Get as creative as you'd like, then end your Vine by dropping the apple down and out of the frame so the next person in the chain can catch it and keep it going.
General Electric has already kicked off the Apple Drop with the Vines below. Check them out and submit your own with the hashtag #GravityDay — GE will re-vining their favorites all weekend.
