The Moto X is a hard-working phone. You don't need to cajole it to do its job.

In the bed alongside her lies a lazy guy, who is supposed to represent the man's smartphone.
"OK, you gotta touch me first," says the slacker/phone. "You know the rules." The slacker then launches into an annoying song that blows the mood until the woman instructs Google Now to find her the right song.
In another ad, a mom wants to photograph her son in a school play. The slacker phone, which was asleep, tells her to enter her password. Then he has to find his camera. Finally, he asks the actors on stage to start over.
The ads, which debuted on YouTube Monday, will be broadcast on TV on Thursday, two days after Apple's expected iPhone update.
