Last weekend, Snoop Dogg won a pound of weed betting on a Floyd Mayweather boxing match. Now the champion fighter has cashed in on a big bet of his own, winning some major green, thanks to college football star Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M.
How much did Mayweather score? Try $200,000. The outspoken "Money" Mayweather, as he's known, posted the betting receipt online to prove his big win on Saturday afternoon:
Congratulations @JManziel2 for putting on a fantastic show. He may not be able to make money off himself but I can. pic.twitter.com/Tp3sKyznkq

If that's difficult for you to decipher, here's a translation: Mayweather bet $220,000 that A&M would be up by 18 or more points after the first half of its game against in-state patsy Southern Methodist. Superstar Manziel and company went into halftime up 32-6, meaning Mayweather got back a total of $420,000 for a net gain of $200,000.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
But there's an added bonus to Mayweather's Twitter humblebrag. He also took a thinly veiled shot at the NCAA's insistence on college athletes' amateur status amid ballooning revenues. The issue has gained increased prominence in recent months, and Manziel's season appeared to be in jeopardy after allegations that he profited off of his own signature by autographing memorabilia for sports dealers.
So we've got Snoop winning big on Mayweather one week, and Mayweather winning big on Manziel the next. Now we just need Manziel to win something ridiculous betting on Snoop, and the circle will be complete.
