Despite its bold design, the headphones are light enough to make mobile listening a pleasure.
When you're on the go, you don't have time to baby your headphones -- an issue these headphones will not have.
In addition to blue, the Soul Combat+ comes in yellow and black.
Designed with mobility in mind, these headphones include a nice long cord, providing easy freedom of movement.
The bold colors and the distinctive logos make these headphones instantly recognizable, a feature that counts if you like to show off your tech brand allegiances.
On a jog or at the gym, most over-ear headphones are too hot, too heavy, and too likely to jostle — and let's not mention the sweat. Soul Electronics attempts to do differently with the Combats, and succeeds.
The over-ear Combat headphones are lightweight, sturdy, comfortable, breathable and deliver sound on par with the bulky over-ear headphones too fancy to toss into a gym bag.

Specifically targeted to gym rats and weekend workout warriors, the Combats integrate several innovations to minimize heat. For one, the ear pads are made of a squishy memory foam not unlike that found in high-end mattresses, allowing for a conforming fit while still providing some air to flow through it.
Similarly, the bendy, rubberized headband — extra wide to keep the things in place — has a large vent to let heat escape. The drivers are covered to keep sweat out; everything else is sweat- and bacterial-resistant. The ear pads are removable for easy cleaning or for replacing with a machine-washable pair of mesh ear pads (included in the $199 price).
Sound-wise, the Combats will easily drown out the gym's sound system. For all but the most bass-heavy music, the Combats deliver a satisfying experience. And though the bass doesn't overwhelm, it still beats most any on-ear headphones.
A small, annoying detail: though intended to work with the iPhone (hence the rubberized remote/mic), the plug is that L-shape that makes threading through a case or armband frustrating. That — and possibly the Combats' endorsement by Tim Tebow — is the only mark against it.
The Good
Comfortable, breathable ear pads
Sturdy, stay-put design
Good bass, great mids and highs
The Bad
L-shaped plug doesn't fit armbands well

Bottom Line: Whether for a run, a workout, or a session of Wii Fit Tennis, the Combats are an excellent option for amping up exercise.
