The recent news of deploying drone planes by India on the border of Bangladesh and Pakistan have left us in shock and concerned. Our politicians have defended India’s decision by stating that it is India’s choice whether India want to deploy the drone planes or not, Bangladesh has no right to interfere in this matter. This is not something unexpected from our politicians who are paid agents of India. Their strategy to fulfill their master’s command is not by supporting India’s policy directly but by defending them with arguments that benefits India and demeans the interest of the people of Bangladesh. This is the hypocritical stance that these politicians take to fulfill their covenant with Delhi. This politicians also employs some paid intellects and columnists in the electronic and print media who terrorizes people of India’s military strength and being connected with India from three side.
Amidst this deliberate propagandas by the puppets of India and confusing opinions of our declined intellects, some Muslims are convinced that being surrounded by India from three side and also India being the regional super power Bangladesh cannot take any aggressive actions to put forward its interest and defend itself or otherwise Bangladesh will be crushed like insects by India’s advanced military force.
This defeated mentality from some of the Muslims are nothing but the result of intensive propagation by the India’s and Bangladesh’s media boasting India’s military strength and at the same time undermining Bangladesh’s military potential. However, if we give an enlightened look inside India’s military force we will come to know to what extent it is capable of encountering Bangladesh military. Some of those loopholes inside India’s military force are given below:
Incompetent Indian Army: In an article titled “Indian Army is fat not fit, says internal audit”1 by CNN-IBN, the internal auditors of Army conducted an audit in 2011 where they has raised questions about the quantity and quality of food being fed to the men. The audit says normal military diet could be three times more than what is recommended by the ICMR. According to the audit report, the recommended dietary intake of cereals for normal human consumption is 460 grams per day, while the Indian Army gives 600 grams per day. The ICMR recommends just 30 grams of meat per person per day as ideal for health but according to the audit report army men get 100 grams of fresh meat. In case of potatoes only 50 grams is permissible but the Indian Army gets 100 grams on a standard basis.
So we see India is producing fat Army not fit army, then how this flock of sheep will be a match for the descendants of Salahuddin Ayyubi (Liberated Palestine from the Christian in 1187)?
Outdated air defense, ill-equipped infantry and insufficient shells: In a leaked letter from the army chief V.K. Singh of India to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the chief said the army’s major combat weapons are in an “alarming” state, alleging that its tank fleet does not have sufficient amount of shells and ammunitions to defeat enemy tanks and that India’s air defenses are “97 percent obsolete.”2 He also mentioned that the infantry and Elite Special Forces is crippled with deficiency of essential weapons, critical surveillance; night fighting capabilities3.
So we see India’s air defense is outdated to face modern warfare and would easily be knocked down due to its obsoleteness. Moreover, in an another article4 it was stated that over the past 40 years India had lost more than half of its MiG combat fleet of 872 aircraft. The minister disclosed that "482 MiG aircraft accidents took place till April 19, 2012". The defense minister A.K Antony also revealed that these crashes led to the loss of precious lives of 171 pilots, 39 civilians and eight persons from other services. The minister went on to state that the cause of the accidents were "both human error and technical defects".
So with outdated air defense, insufficient infantry equipment and insufficient shells for tank how India will manage to fight on ground and also in the air?
Chinese IT hardware in India’s combat system: India who visions to be the regional super power, uses Chinese IT hardware in its combat system! A country which cannot manufacture its own hardware and has to depend on another nuclear armed country, China, then how can India can ensure its own security? “The Indian Army has told the Central Government that major components used by the force in Project Shakti have Chinese IT hardware, which makes the entire communication network extremely vulnerable. Project Shakti is the command, control and communication lifeline of the Indian Army and is fielded in about two thirds of the force.
Rape and killing by the Indian army: the Indian army in Kashmir, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and other segregated states have been involved in rape of their own citizen in those states. Even they have records of raping female army officers and they have not spared women in regions where they were sent as peace keepers by the UN peacekeeping mission. The security force which is busy raping their own women, how can they even think of fighting the Muslims!
On the other hand, in the past 10 years the army themselves have killed 74 of each other and on average 130 army officers have died by suicide. Apart from army, the situation the paramilitary force is even worse. From 2009 onwards around 400 member have died either by committing suicide or killing each other and around 44 thousand soldiers and officers have resigned from the job.
Bangladesh’s geopolitical strength: “The unique geographic location of Bangladesh which cuts the troubled North East region of India off from mainland constitutes a significant security weak point for India for the fact that the region shares border with China and that various insurgent groups are active within the region that are fighting against the Indian government for self-determination. In light of their experience in Indo-China war in 1962, the Indian defense planners consider the strategic chicken neck to be inadequate and see Bangladesh to be the safest and the shortest route to transport military logistics to North East region in case of a military conflict between India and China in the future. A strategic corridor through Bangladesh is also seen as important to conduct sustained military campaign against the insurgent groups in North East. The corridor through Bangladesh has economic significance as well because it is the most cost effective route to connect North East with the rest of India for the transshipment of industrial goods to and from North Eastern states, which is vital to improve the economic condition of this land locked region”
After analyzing all these information it is very clear to us that no matter how much India boasts about its military force and its advanced weapons, they are all eye wash to undermine its surrounding countries’ military capabilities. Moreover, no matter how much our politicians and our intellects scream that we are helpless but our geo-political position and severe weakness in India’s armed forces puts us in a position where we are able to defend ourselves. We can defend our own security and do not have to bow down to India.
For this we need sincere politicians and adoption of Allah’s law. Allah’s law does not discriminate anybody whether they Muslim or non-Muslim. Khilafah which is the ruling in Islam, will provide security to its citizens whether they are Muslim or Non-Muslim at any cost. The Khilafah will ensure that it has modern weapons and technology to defend its sovereignty. The Khilafah will also ensure that it is at the forefront of technology which will attract people and deter enemies. The army of Khilafah which will be driven by the fear of Allah will never dare to harm its own people or exploit their position. The army will be trained by the motivation of Salahuddin Ayyubi and Tariq bin Ziyad such that they create terror in the heart of enemies. This is no imaginary philosophies, but policies based on Islam which can be turned in to reality.
