With the 2014 Grammys on the horizon, there will be plenty of mainstream focus on current artists such as Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Lorde. While we wait for this year's crop of nominees, the Recording Academy has given us reason to listen to classic tunes.
The academy on Tuesday revealed the new inductees into the Grammy Hall of Fame. The 27 recordings inducted bring the total in the hall to 960, including albums and singles that span from Hoagy Carmichael's "Georgia on My Mind" (1930) to Run-D.M.C.'s cover of "Walk this Way" (1986).
