A volley of rockets fired from Gaza struck various parts of south Israel on Wednesday, various sources in the region reported.
News reports of the attack and a response from the Iron Dome anti-rocket system were confirmed by the Israeli Defense Force Twitter feed.

The IDF reported the launch of 20 rockets, although various reports said the number was closer to 30.
Islamic Jihad, a Palestinian organization based in Gaza, claimed responsibility for the attack.
The strike comes less than a day after Israel killed three Palestinians with an airstrike in the Gaza Strip following a skirmish at a border fence.
The IDF claimed the attack to be the largest since 2012.
