লিমনকে নির্যাতন ও পায়ে গুলি করে হত্যা চেষ্টার অভিযোগে র‌্যাবের বিরুদ্ধে মামলা করেছেন লিমনের মা। লিমনের মা হেনোয়ারা বেগম ঝালকাঠি জেলা জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতে এ মামলাটি দায়ের করেন। মামলায় র‌্যাব ৮-এর ডিএডি মো. লুৎফর রহমানসহ ৬ সদস্যের নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। বিচারক নুসরাত জাহান অভিযোগ তদন্ত করে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা নিতে রাজাপুর ওসিকে নির্দেশ দেন। উল্লেখ্য, গত ২৩ মার্চ র‌্যাব কলেজ ছাত্র লিমনকে সন্ত্রাসী সন্দেহে আটক করে তার পায়ে গুলি করে। পরে গুলিবিদ্ধ লিমনকে ঢাকায় পঙ্গু হাসপাতালে আনা হলে তার পা কেটে ফেলতে হয়। # আমার আশংকা তার মাকে এজন্য ব্যাপক হয়রানি করা হবে। আসুন সবাই র‌্যাবসহ সবার অন্যায় কর্মকাণ্ডের বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার হই। লিমন ও তার মাকে র‌্যাবের আক্রোসের হাত থেকে বাঁচাই। আমি প্রধান মন্ত্রী সহ আরও অন্যান্যের কাছে জরুরী আপিল লেটার পাঠিয়েছি : Dear Prime Minister of Bangladesh, BANGLADESH: Rapid Action Battalion shot innocent college student into permanent disability and now threatening sympathizers to kill extra-judicially Names of victim: Md. Mr. Limon Hossen has been currently under treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology, Orthopedic and Rehabilitation (NITOR) after having his left leg amputated from the thigh due to complete damage of all the tissues of the thigh area as a result of gun shot by the RAB.
