২১শে মার্চ ছিল জাতিসংঘ ও ইউনেস্কো স্বীকৃত “বিশ্ব কবিতা দিবস”। এইদিনে সারাবিশ্বে পালিত হলো আরও ৬টি আন্তর্জাতিক দিবস-“বিশ্ব ঘুম দিবস”,“বিশ্ব ডাউন’স সিনড্রোম দিবস”,“বিশ্ব বন দিবস”,“বিশ্ব পুতুল খেলা দিবস”,“আন্তর্জাতিক নওরোজ দিবস” এবং “আন্তর্জাতিক বর্ণবাদ বৈষম্য দূরীকরণ দিবস”। আমি কবি নই এবং বাংলা সাহিত্যের খুব দূর্বল ছাত্র। আমি এস.এস.সি-তে মাত্র ৯নম্বরের জন্য মেধা তালিকায় স্থান পাইনি;আমার বাংলা ১ম ও ২য় পত্রের নম্বর ছিল যথাক্রমে ৫২ ও ৫৬। তারপরেও জীবনে বিভিন্ন সময়ে উপলদ্ধি করেছি মনের ভাব প্রকাশের ক্ষেত্রে কবিতা কত শক্তিশালী মাধ্যম।
বাংলা সাহিত্যের একজন দিকপালকে খুব কাছে থেকে দেখার সৌভাগ্য হয়েছিল আমার। আমার মনে হয়েছে বিজ্ঞানীরা যেমন ল্যাবে গবেষণা করে মানবজাতির কল্যাণে বড় বড় আবিষ্কার করেন ঠিক তেমনি কবিরাও তাদের মনের গবেষণাগারে অক্লান্ত চেষ্টায় একেকটা কবিতার জন্ম দেন। সে অর্থে প্রতিটি কবিই একেকজন ভাববিজ্ঞানী। আর তাইতো সারাবিশ্ব এসব ভাববিজ্ঞানীর প্রসূত কবিতাকে সম্মান জানাতেই প্রতি বছর ২১শে মার্চ পালন করে “বিশ্ব কবিতা দিবস”। এ দিবসে বিশ্বের সকল কবিকে বিশেষতঃ প্রথম আলো ব্লগের সকল কবিকে জানাই সশ্রদ্ধ সালাম ও অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা(অনিচ্ছাকৃত দেরীর জন্য ক্ষমা করবেন)।
তবে একটা বিষয়ে একটু মনোকষ্টে ভূগছি আর তা হলো এদিনে প্রথম আলো ব্লগে ব্লগারদের নির্লিপ্ততা(কেবল মাসুম বাদল ছিলেন এর ব্যতিক্রম)। আমার পর্যবেক্ষণ থেকে বলতে পারি এ ব্লগে প্রতিদিন যত পোষ্ট হয় তার ৩৫-৪০%-ই কবিতা। অথচ ব্লগ পরিবারে এ নিয়ে কোন আয়োজন হলো না এদিন। এমনকি এদিনের তাৎপর্য তুলে ধরে কোন পোষ্টও দেখলাম না। এটা কী এদিবস সম্পর্কে সচেতনতার অভাব নাকি সচেতন অবহেলা নাকি কবিদের আত্মভিমান?আমি প্রথম কারণটি ধরে নিয়েই আজকের পোষ্টটি দিলাম।
বিভিন্ন ঘটনা ও বিষয় নিয়ে বিভিন্ন আন্তর্জাতিক দিবস পালিত হয়। আমি নীচে এর একটা তালিকা সংযুক্ত করলাম। প্রথম আলো ব্লগ মুক্ত চিন্তা ও তাদের ধারকদের মিলনমেলা। আমরা যদি এসব আন্তর্জাতিক দিবসের(অন্ততঃ বাছাইকৃত কয়েকটির) তাৎপর্য তুলে ধরে ব্লগেই আলোচনা/অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করি তা এই ব্লগকে নিঃসন্দেহে ভিন্নতা দেবে। আশা করি বিষয়টা সম্মানিত ব্লগার ও সঞ্চালক মহাদয় ভেবে দেখবেন।
