Dear Arild, I understood by your post the qualifications of the community moderator are as follows - the objectivity and neutrality for the job should be above of his personal beliefs - the moderators will be accountable to the community You may add the following condition also - Must have six months blogging experience The tasks and responsibilities of moderators that you already notified are as follows - be responsible for the FrontPage moderation - to remove the post from the front page for 8 hours until the blog administrators can get a chance to review the post and decide whether or not to keep it off the front page - to show reason for moderation expressing by simple wordings You can add these following points also - 1. Develop a sense of community , caring and responsiveness. This can be done easily by getting involved in discussions, responding to posts. 2. Monitor the blog for abusive posts, unauthorized advertisements, copyright infringements, any sort of harassment like personal attack, nick alteration and edit or delete posts that violate these rules. 3. You may lock or unlock a topic, preventing or allowing new replies to be added if such violation done in the post and then wait for the responses. Regards Kowshik
